What this site is
We help you pick home appliances that are "just right" for your room size, hours of use and lifestyle, using quizzes and electricity cost calculators. Themes change with the seasons (right now: winter heating). This English version is for people living in Japan — the products, stores and prices are the same as on our Japanese site.

How we check information
Every number has a date and a source
Power use, costs and statistics come with the date we checked them and their source at the bottom of the page. If we couldn't confirm something, we say so.One electricity price for all calculations
